Also I think I might be cursed.
Normally when my plant looks thirsty I pour water on it and then that water collects in a little dish under the flowerpot. It normally looks mostly clear.
Today I poured water on the plant and the dish overflowed and the water was black and smelled like death.
Is that bad?
