respond to the show ok goodnight

 this song scares me.

it kind of reminds me of Angus the prize winning hog in parts.

In response to the anti-dwelling statements, they seem to suggest that one should go and follow the money instead and pursuing money for the sake of money is clearly an illness.

so, yeah. But it seems like they're doing the thing where they're like 'oh we're what evil people sound like.'

It's a good song.

Another thing I want to say is that this week we have a group that is content to sit and enjoy each other's company and wow does it feel good. It's so nice. like they don't need distractions or mediation to avoid conflict. dang. shoutout chill group.

Oh yeah thats a good point, I should note that their over-the-top circus announcer vibe thing was just for that song and I would agree that they are purposefully playing the villains in the spoken parts. I haven't determined what the song as a whole is saying or how the evil announcers are involved, but I would def say it's meant as caricature. That's not their band vibe at all. The entire album is this kind of aggressive jazz-prog fusion that I find fascinating but certainly abnormal. The single 22 is a better example of the 'general vibe' the band gives off for this latest album.

But also each album is different. The prior album was a concept album folk/prog metal mix about a fox and a bird trying to save the world and it makes me cry. And if we wanna talk about SCARY songs their song The Crocodile is terrifying and I avoid it regularly when listening to that album.

Thanks for listening!! Also glad to hear the campers are chill.
